Einladung zum Vortrag und in die „Scenography Working Group“ der IFTR (International Federation for Theatre Research); Präsentation meiner Forschungsergebnisse zum Thema Szenografie.

The conference “Presenting the Theatrical Past. Interplays of Artefacts, Discourses and Practices” addresses questions concerning our relationship to theatre history, i.e. the relation between present and past. How and why do we deal with history? What do we do with history? To what extent is historical research an exploration of our present?

The Scenography Working Group focuses upon the history, theory, aesthetics and practice of scenography – design for and as performance. The group represents the leading international forum for the sharing of research in this discipline and meets annually at every IFTR World Congress.
